Why choose us to fit your kitchen
Finished, not just fitted
Plaster and paint are our own trade, so the walls are made good and the room is painted once the units are in. No decorator to find afterwards.
One team from strip-out to paint
Old kitchen out, pipes and cables, units, worktops, tiling and decorating, organised by us from start to finish.
You choose the kitchen
Buy the units, worktops and appliances wherever you like; we install them.
Extraction and connections planned first
The hood, its duct, pipes and cables are settled before the units go up.
Kitchen installation: what we fit
Strip-out of the old kitchen, with walls and floor prepared
Base and wall units fixed level and square, with plinths and end panels
Worktops cut and fitted
Oven, hob, cooker hood, integrated appliances, sink and taps set into the run
Tiling or a splashback behind the worktop and hob
Making good and painting the room at the end (where the walls need more than a patch, see our plasterers page)
How it works
- 01
Tell us about your kitchen
Send the plan or a sketch, photos of the room as it is now and whether the sink or hob will move.
- 02
We visit and quote
We come and look at the room before we quote, then put the quote in writing. The visit and the quote are free.
- 03
You order the kitchen, we fit it
The old kitchen comes out, new pipes and cables go in while the walls are open, then we start installing the units, worktops and appliances.
- 04
We finish the room
Connections, tiling and splashback, then the walls made good and painted, so the kitchen is ready to use when we leave.
Plumbing, electrics and extraction: checks before you order
A few choices decide where pipes, cables and ducts run, so raise them at the quote:
Moving the sink or dishwasher
It changes where the waste and water supply run. Moving the sink is a job for a kitchen plumber, best done before the new units go in.
A new oven or induction hob
It may need a circuit of its own. Electrical and gas work must be carried out or certified by a registered electrician or gas engineer.
The cooker hood
Approved Document F expects kitchens to have extraction to the outside. For a hood or fan that runs only when switched on, that's at least 30 litres a second through a hood that vents outside, or 60 if there's no hood or it only recirculates (checked October 2026). A recirculating hood on its own doesn't meet Part F of the Building Regulations.
If you let the property
The government's guidance on damp and mould, written for landlords, suggests, where possible, an extractor fan close to the hob as well as a hood, and fans that switch on with the humidity or keep running after the light goes off.
A Southwark Council flat
If you own the lease, the council asks for its permission before a new kitchen goes in; our home renovation page covers that and refits that are part of a bigger job.
What affects the cost of fitting a kitchen
Every kitchen is priced after a visit. What moves the price most is the room, not the kitchen's price tag:
Units and worktop: how many units, and whether a stone or quartz worktop needs templating and cutting by a specialist.
Layout: moving the sink, hob or oven means new pipes, waste or cables.
What's behind the old kitchen: walls and floors in poor condition need repairing first.
Extraction: a hood that vents outside may need a duct through an external wall.
Fit only: you buy the kitchen, so our quote covers the fitting and finishing.

Questions about kitchen fitting in Beckenham
Call 020 8249 7303
What does a kitchen fitter do?
A kitchen fitter takes out the old kitchen, installs the new units, worktops and appliances, and makes sure the plumbing and electrical connections are done by the right people at the right stage.
How much does it cost to have a kitchen fitted?
It depends on the size of the kitchen, the worktop, any change of layout and the state of the walls. The kitchen itself is usually a large part of the total, so it's worth getting the fitting quoted before you order.
Do you supply the kitchen, or only fit it?
We only fit: you choose and buy the units, worktops and appliances, and we install them and finish the room.
